Long Beach

As you may have been able to tell I have been MIA in the blog world.
I do actually have some good excuses for that, one being we went on a cruise!  It was so much fun, even though it was chilly most of the time.  I will post the vacation in different sections because I have so many awesome pictures.
We were able to take three of our top managers on the cruise which went to Catalina Island and Ensenada Mexico.  My good friend Jessica and her husband Jesse were able to come as well!

Day 1:

We woke up bright and early, got some last minute packing done and headed to my moms in Bountiful.  She was so awesome to take us to the airport and let us leave our car at her house!  We flew out of SLC Airport at 11:45 and arrived in Long Beach at 12:45.  Justin's brother Wade is on his mission there and we wanted to see him so bad.  Kyle, Justin's other brother who went on the cruise too decided it would be a good idea to go see Wade and went and knocked on his door!  Wade was totally shocked but it definitely makes for a funny story!

When we got on the cruise ship the first thing we did was go to the huge buffet that has endless amounts of amazing food and ate some lunch.  The ship wouldn't be leaving the port until 5:30.  We then headed straight to our room for a little relaxation, which was nice after so much work and school over the past few months.  Justin was especially excited to just watch some good movies on T.V. and some shows (since we don't have cable)

After a nap... we decided it was time for some Sushi on the ship.  If you haven't been on a cruise, just beware that you'll probably come back weighing a lot more than before you got on the ship.  But it was so fun because everyday on the cruise ship they have a little sushi bar during the evening that you can get as much sushi as you want for free.  So we were there every day for sure!

So then we just hung out with our friends and managers and decided what we were going to do on the excursions to Catalina Island and Ensenada.  But not too long after that were we eating again.  It was time for dinner and we had the 8:15 p.m. time for dinner and our table had a blast.  My favorite part of cruises are definitely the dinners.  The waiters become your greatest friends and you get to pick as much amazing food as you'd like.  Without fail every night i had the Chocolate Melting cake for dinner.  It was delicious!!!

After dinner we were all exhausted from a fun filled day of traveling and eating that we hit the sack.  Without fail every night when you get to your room they have made a sweet little towel character that sits on your bed.  It's so fun to get back to your room to see what they've done.

The first day was great, but the vacation just got better from there!
